He completed MBBS from University Of Bombay in 1984,Diploma in Orthopaedics from The College of Physicians and Surgeons, Bombay in 1987 and DNB - Orthopedics/Orthopedic Surgery from National Board of Examination, India in 1989.He is a member of Medical Council of India (MCI). During this period, I completed Diploma in Orthopaedics (College of Physician Surgeon, Bombay) and Master degree in Orthopaedics from University of Bombay.Thereafter, I joined Paediatric Orthopaedic Surgery Program at B J Wadia Hospital, Bombay and later Lecturer in Orthopaedics at GS Medical College LTM Medical College, Bombay. During this period, I completed D.N.B (Diplomate of National Board) examination conducted by National Board of Examinations, New Delhi.I was in the United Kingdom from 1990 to 1996. I joined the Birmingham Orthopaedic Training Program sponsored by the Royal College of Surgeons, London from August 1990 to July 1994. During this period, I completed the AO fellowship in Trauma and Joint Replacement under Prof. Reschauer at Linz, Austria. Thereafter, I joined the MCh program at the University of Liverpool and worked as a designated post of Registrar at Whiston hospital, Liverpool. The registrar post was sponsored by the Royal University Hospital, Liverpool during 1995I returned to India and joined Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals, New Delhi in March 1996 as Consultant in Orthopaedics and Joint Replacement Surgery.
